CHILD & YOUTH ART THERAPIST AT THE HALIAKA’AS HEILTSUK HEALTH CENTRE

  • Conduct art therapy sessions with Indigenous children, youth & adults

  • Provide a safe space for self-exploration through art making

  • Address a wide range of issues (ie: managing symptoms of anxiety & depression, suicidal ideation, self harm, etc)

  • Conduct parent meetings, client intakes + goal settings and suicide assessments + safety plans

  • Attend the community interagency meetings & take part of the local on-call crisis intervention helpline when needed
